JOIN US IN OUR MISSION TO RECOVER EDIBLE FOOD DESTINED FOR LANDFILLDid you know that if the amount of food in landfill were a country, it would be the third leading 'country' contributing to climate change?
According to the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), Canadians waste $31 billion of food every year, 47% of which is wasted in the home. We are a Non-Profit Incorporation working to reduce the stigma on Food Waste, and redistribute edible food to those who are willing and able to use it! |

We are a small group of people who have come together, united by a common passion of recovering edible food from landfill. It has taken a lot of work to pull it all together, but it is happening! This is a movement taking place all over the world right now. Each recovery or rescue program is unique to its community, and the requirements and available assistance within that community.
